Who is behind QuickWills UAE, and why it exists
QuickWills UAE is a guided will document-preparation platform for residents and expats in the UAE. It is run by a licensed UAE company. This page sets out who we are and what the platform does.
Who runs it
QuickWills UAE is operated by Quick Wills FZE LLC, a company licensed in the Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone. It was founded by Richard Atkinson, who is the company's sole shareholder and manager, and has been live since July 2026.
The licence is a software and online-platform licence. The platform prepares your will from your answers, and the court registers it.

Why it exists
Making a UAE will for an expat family should be clear, affordable and possible from home. Both Abu Dhabi routes, the ADGM Courts and the ADJD Civil Family Court, publish their requirements, and a will for most families follows a well-defined structure. So we built a guided workflow around those published requirements: you answer structured questions, preview your will, and pay only when you download.

How registration works
You prepare your will online. Then you sign at the court: ADGM uses a virtual notary appointment with a wet-ink signature, and ADJD's process is fully remote (filed through the ADJD portal and confirmed at a video-call notarisation appointment).
